On Thursday afternoon, a three-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Martha Berry Blvd and John Davenport Drive. One of the vehicles involved was a Georgia Power Truck. 

Traffic was affected because the intersection and the right turn lane of John Davenport were blocked by Rome Police and Fire Department so that the vehicles could be removed safely.

Floyd EMS checked for injuries at the scene – no injuries were reported by dispatch.
