Chattooga Water District asks customers to conserve water for next few days

WZQZ Radio –

(Via WZQZ Radio) The Chattooga County Water District is asking customers to conserve water for the next few days due to a pump going out at one of the county water system’s wells.

The district says that it could take up to two weeks to get the pump repaired.  There is nothing wrong with the water that customers have at this time, but due to one well being out of commission, the water district is asking people not to fill up swimming pools, water their garden, or their yards.

Please note: This request to conserve water is for CHATTOOGA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT CUSTOMERS ONLY.

If you pay your water bill to The City of Summerville, The City of Menlo, The Town of Trion, The Town of Lyerly or Fort Payne Water District, this request DOES NOT affect you.
