Chamber holds 110th meeting Thursday

Rome Rome-Floyd Chamber of Commerce held its 110th annual meeting Thursday at State Mutual Stadium.

During the meeting, Armuchee Pharmacy was recognized as the Small Business of the Year, and Romega Digital was named Emerging Small Business of the Year.

The chamber also recognized their Exceptional Seven Young Professionals.

They were Amanda Farrell with Farrell’s Fame and Design; Pepperell High teacher Emilia Jackson;  Ford Knight of Knight’s Car Store; Krista Lovering with Ford, Gittings and Kane; Leah Mayor with the Floyd County District Attorney’s office; Storm Mull from Darlington School; and Xavier Ringer with the Rome Mural CoLab.

The chamber also unveiled a new portable mural, #experienceromefloyd, created by Rome Mural CoLab and HSLR students.
