Calhoun man arrested following foot chase

CALHOUN POLICE

A 34-year old Calhoun man was arrested Tuesday after getting into a foot chase with police.

According to a Calhoun Police report, officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Harland Street but determined no crime had been committed.

However, in police learned the man involved, who had left the scene before officers arrived, was wanted in Floyd County for a probation violation.

Rusty M. Holbert was located near the CL Moss substation.

He took off running.

The officer gave chase but lost sight of Holbert.

K9 “Sido” was brought in.

Holbert was located, laying in the river, and was taken into custody.
