Charges are pending in a four-vehicle crash that occurred during a pursuit that began in Polk County and ended in Floyd County Friday evening.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Chevy Malibu driven by 26-year old Jeremiah D. Hodges of Aragon was traveling north on Highway 101 at a high rate of speed and in a reckless manner while attempting to elude state troopers.

Hodges’ vehicle struck the rear end of a Chevy Express and then rotated into the other lane where it was struck by a Jaguar XF Portfolio.

The impact caused the rear trunk to separate from Hodges’ vehicle.

The remaining portion of the vehicle was then struck by a Toyota Camry.

Hodges, the driver of the Jaguar and the driver of the Camry were all transported to Floyd Medical Center.

The driver of the Chevy Express was not injured.
