FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Rome man was arrested at his Dean Avenue residence Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault and battery.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 46-year old Marlin Jermaine Johnson punched a woman in the face multiple times, causing two busted lips and a knot on her head.

He also allegedly put his hands around the victim’s neck and squeezed.

The victim told police that she was in fear for her life.
