On Monday afternoon a multi-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Turner McCall Blvd and Martha Berry Blvd near Floyd Medical Center.
The accident temporarily shutdown the South bound Road lanes in the area around the hospital until the vehicles could be removed from the scene.
The Rome Police Department and the Rome-Floyd Fire Department arrived on the scene to divert the heavy incoming traffic from Martha Berry Blvd and 2nd Avenue.
At least one patient was transported To be treated for any injuries from the scene by Floyd EMS.
