A man arrested in connection with a fatal wreck Saturday has also been implicated in the theft of a vehicle from a nearby residence.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, 34-year old Trevus Jamaahl Baugh of Cartersville was driving on the wrong side of the road when his Hyundai Elantra slammed into a Toyota Sienna on Euharlee Road.

A passenger in the Sienna, 42-year old Shauna D’Agostino, a teacher at the Bartow County College and Career Academy, was killed.

According to a Cartersville Police report, Baugh fled the wreck scene on foot and then entered a nearby residence, where he took the keys to a 2019 Nissan Frontier and then stole the pickup.

Baugh was arrested later that afternoon after being involved in another hit-and-run in Cobb County.
