Floyd County reports 310 new COVID-19 cases in last two weeks

Floyd County has now had 1,138 residents test positive for COVID-19, 310 in the past two weeks.

According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, 15 Floyd County residents have died and 71 hospitalized since the pandemic began.

Bartow County is at 1,440 total cases, 352 in the past two weeks with 55 total deaths and 200 hospitalizations.

523 Gordon County residents have tested positive, more than half of those, 286, in the last two weeks.

62 Gordon County residents have been hospitalized and 23 have died.

Polk County has seen a total of 584 cases, 203 in the last two weeks with six deaths and 26 hospitalizations.

Chattooga County reports a total of 158 cases, 72 in the last two weeks with two deaths and five hospitalizations.

Statewide, another 3,373 cases were reported from Tuesday to Wednesday, bringing the total to 178,323.

3,642 Georgia residents have died from the virus.

There have been 17,964 hospitalizations across the state.
