FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 46-year old Rome man was jailed over the weekend on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Geoffrey William Nielson Blaine of a Heartwood Drive address struck a woman with his vehicle, injuring her.

He also allegedly slammed another person’s head against the ground, causing the victim to sustain internal head injuries.

Blaine was also charged with DUI.
