Man charged with human trafficking

A 49-year old Rome man was jailed Saturday on charges of criminal attempt to commit child molestation and human trafficking.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Christopher Deway Bosell made contact with someone he believed to be under the age of 16 on the internet.

After engaging in a graphic conversation, he offered cash for sex acts.

He then traveled to an agreed-upon location to meet the person.

At the time of his arrest, Boswell was found with two loaded pistols.

He is also charged with sexual exploitation of children, obscene internet contact with a child, and possession of firearms during the commission of a crime.
