Two accused of making threats, one facing robbery charge

Two men were arrested following an incident Saturday evening on Blarney Way.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 33-year old Jason Earl Edwards of a Woodward Street address snatched a necklace from one person and then made physical contact with the victim and a second person.

He then reportedly stated that he was going to get his gun and kill them.

Edwards was charged with robbery by sudden snatching, terroristic threats and acts, and battery, along with a probation violation.

Meanwhile, 36-year old Christopher Aaron Godfrey, also of Woodward Street, struck one of the victims, causing visible bodily harm and also stated he was going to shoot them.

Godfrey was charged with battery, terroristic threats and acts, and a probation violation.
