Georgia gas prices increased 3 cents at the pump compared to a week ago.

Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $2.43 per gallon for regular unleaded.

Monday’s state average is 3 cents more than a week ago, 9 cents less than this time last month, and 21 cents less than this time last year.

According to AAA, due to ongoing maintenance and tighter gasoline supply, motorists can expect fluctuations at the pump likely through the end of the week.

Local averages on Monday were $2.39 in Floyd County, $2.49 in Bartow County, $2.40 in Gordon County, $2.45 in Polk County and $2.32 in Chattooga County.
