A number of free screenings will be available Saturday during the 18th annual Health Initiative for Men and Women.

The event, sponsored by the 100 Black men of Rome and Northwest Georgia is from 8 a.m. until Noon at the Floyd County Health Department.

The event usually draws around 400 men and women every year.
