Teen arrested for selling vaping device to juvenile at Model High

A teenager was arrested Friday, accused of having a vaping substance while at Model High School.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 17-year old Dakota Scott Chase-Brooking was found with a vaping device with an oil that was initially believed to be THC.

Chase-Brooking allegedly sold the vaping item to a juvenile for $40.

That juvenile had a reaction to the substance which required medical attention.

Turns out the oil was just nicotine but was passed off as THC oil.

Chase-Brooking is charged with possession of a counterfeit controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, reckless conduct, possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
