Juveniles charged in vandalism of Pepperell High concession stand

The Floyd County Police Department has arrested two juveniles in relation to damage at a concession stand at the Pepperell High School football stadium on Sunday night.

Both juveniles are 13-year-old eighth graders in the Pepperell school district; one lives in Silver Creek and the other Lindale.

Approximately $300 in snacks and drinks were recovered as a result of the investigation.

The juveniles will not be identified by FCPD.

They have been released to their parents and are awaiting prosecution in Floyd County Juvenile Court.

Damage included a roll-up metal door and the glass doors of four Coca Cola coolers.

The suspects have each been charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal damage to property, theft by taking and criminal trespass.

Investigators credit television news coverage with identification of the suspects.
