Alleged gang members charged following jail fight

A fight at the Floyd County Jail last Thursday resulted in several inmates requiring medical treatment and charges being filed.

According to jail records, 29-year old Anthony Alan Rogers, 24-year old Stephen Kyle Ingram, and 24-year old Dustin Warren Ballard, all of Silver Creek, and 23-year old Dylon Turner Baker of Ellijay are purported members of the “Ghost Face” gang.

Meanwhile, 40-year old Travis Dale Herrin of Shannon is a member of the “Aryan Brotherhood,” according to the report.

All are accused of being involved in the violent fight that left other inmates injured.

All were charged Monday with unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution and participation in criminal gang activity.

Rogers was additionally charged with aggravated assault for strangling another inmate with the intent to murder him, according to the report.

Another alleged member of the “Ghost Face Gangsters” was also charged Monday in connection with an incident that occurred in the jail back on April 9.

23-year old Carson Stanley Pray of Ellijay is accused of attacking another inmate, dislocating the man’s shoulder.

Pray is charged with aggravated battery, unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution and participation in criminal gang activity.
