You may have noticed increased activity Friday morning around the Floyd Medical Center Emergency Room, but there is no cause for alarm.

The hospital is conducting an emergency drill.

According to Floyd officials, the drill should be wrapped up by 10 a.m.

Again, if you see what looks like some sort of emergency, it’s only a drill.
