A twenty-nine-year-old Trion man has been charged with child molestation.

According to records from the Chattooga County Jail, Alejandro Lopez was arrested by Trion Police investigators on Wednesday.

Lopez has been charged with child molestation, aggravated child molestation, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and sodomy.

Lopez was arrested shortly before 7 PM yesterday evening.
