A 26-year old Rome man was arrested over the weekend on a felony warrant charging him with obstruction of law enforcement.
According to the warrant, Jacob Leif Hammett punched an officer two times in the face back on June 8.
The incident occurred at Hammett’s residence on Craton Road, according to the warrant.
Hammett is also charged with misdemeanor obstruction, simple assault and 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
