A Rome man was taken into custody on a warrant for his arrest after failing to follow court-ordered directions.
According to the arrest warrant, Andrew Parris of a Cypress Street address did not report to any drug required drug testing from May 24th through May 30th. On May 31st, Parris tested positive for methamphetamines.
Parris was also not home for a surveillance check on June 1st.
He is charged with contempt of superior court.
