Potential for Severe weather on Sunday
April 12, 2019---4:50 P.M.
The NOAA Storm Prediction Center has placed most of Georgia and Alabama under an "Enhanced" chance for severe weather.
The main threats are Tornados, strong winds, hail, and flash flooding.
The timing of the front is expected to come through the Northwest Georgia area Sunday morning, but is subject to change as winds from the south could affect the movement.
The European and GFS models both show the system weakening as the storm moves across Alabama, however the risk for isolated stormsand tornados is still very high.
