Man charged with terroristic threats and acts

A 31-year old Rome man was arrested at his Ross Street residence Sunday night on charges of terroristic threats and acts.

According to reports at the Floyd County Jail, Claude Thomas Kinnebrew Jr. is accused of telling a Calhoun man that he was going to “Bury” him during an argument.

Kinnebrew was also charged with a probation violation.

 

Woman charged with meth possession

A traffic stop at Calhoun Avenue and Bells Ferry Road Sunday ended up with the arrest of a Cartersville woman on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with the intent to distribute.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 27-year old Courtney Jelisa Johnson was also charged with possession of drug-related objects.

A search of her vehicle turned up two plastic bags containing suspected meth and a scale, according to police.

Johnson was also charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license and a probation violation.

 

Man charged with possession of synthetic marijuana

A 28-year old Rome man is facing drug charges after he was stopped by police at Highway 411 and Dodd Boulevard Sunday.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Michael Keith Mason, of a Dodd Boulevard address, was found in possession of synthetic marijuana, which was located in the driver’s side door.

Mason reportedly admitted the substance was his and then produced another corner baggie containing suspected marijuana.

He was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and driving a vehicle with suspended, canceled or revoked registration.
