Man Charged with Aggravated Stalking

A man was arrested Thursday on a charge of aggravated stalking.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, 31-year-old William Kevin Bridges allegedly became engaged in an argument with the victim, violating the terms of his parole on February 8.

He also allegedly blocked the victim’s vehicle in with his car and broke her car door handle, while trying to get into her vehicle on February 9.

Rome Man Arrested after Running from Officers

A Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Thursday after running from police.

According to jail reports, 45-year-old Robert William Mobbs allegedly found in possession of suspected meth during a traffic stop.

Mobbs refused to exit the vehicle during the traffic stop and then fled from officers in his vehicle.

He is charged with driving without a license, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude, obstruction and possession of meth.

Rome Woman Jailed on Drug Charges

A Rome woman was jailed Thursday on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, 46-year-old Tammy Diane Shaw of an Ohio Drive residence was allegedly found in possession of marijuana and meth after fleeing from officers.

She is charged with obstruction, VGCSA marijuana, and VGCSA methamphetamine.
