Rome Woman Jailed on Drug Charges

A Rome woman was booked into the Floyd County Jail Wednesday on drug charges.

According to jail reports, 26-year-old Jasmine Monique Heath of Wilson Avenue was allegedly found in possession of an oxycodone, marijuana, scales and a firearm.

She is charged with possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of drug related objects, possession of a fire arm during the commission of a crime, possession of a schedule IV substance and drugs not in the original container.

Man Charged with Criminal Damage to Property

A man was arrested Tuesday on a charge of second degree criminal damage to property.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, 41-year-old Richard Bradley Clark allegedly burned an estimated $500 worth of the victim’s property in February of 2017.

Clark is also charged with battery in a separate incident after he allegedly threw the victim to the floor during an altercation in March of 2017.

Man Charged with Robbery

A man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Wednesday for robbery.

According to jail reports, 21-year-old Jamal Cartez Newman allegedly and took the victim’s property on January 9th of 2016.

He is also charged with theft by taking and obstruction of law enforcement officers.
