GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The data represents confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health as of Thursday, May 21 at 9 a.m.

There have now been 40,157 positive test results statewide

404,207 tests have been administered.

There have been 7,194 hospitalizations since the beginning of the pandemic.

Total state ICU Admissions totaled at 1,632.

1,724 have died.

No new deaths have been reported in Northwest Georgia over the last several days.

Floyd County is now at 210 confirmed COVID-19 cases and remains at 13 total deaths and 43 total hospitalizations.

Bartow County is at 419 confirmed cases and 35 deaths.

Gordon County has had 134 confirmed cases and 15 total deaths.

Polk County has reported 86 total positives and no deaths.

Chattooga County has had 19 cases and two deaths.
