GA DPH COVID-19 Status Report for May 12th

GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH –

These data represent confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) as of 5/12/2020, 9:00:03.

Governor Brian Kemp and Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey will give a briefing on COVID-19 at 4 p.m. this afternoon.

GEMA Director Homer Bryson and Georgia National Guard Adjutant General Tom Carden will also participate in the briefing which you can view live on the WRGA Facebook page

There have now been 34,165 positives test results since the pandemic began.

Hospitalizations are at 6,116. Total state ICU Admissions totaled at 1,438. 1,460 have died.

Floyd County is now at 159 confirmed COVID-19 cases. 12 total deaths.

Bartow County is at 366 cases and 33 deaths.

Gordon County has had 124 confirmed cases and 16 total deaths.

Polk County has reported 66 total positives and no deaths.

Chattooga County remained at 16 cases and two deaths.
