Alabama woman arrested while driving vehicle stolen in Floyd County

A Centre, Alabama woman is behind bars on charges of Receiving Stolen Property after she was arrested driving a vehicle reported stolen out of Floyd County, Georgia.

Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship says that 25-year-old Natalie Lynn Brogdon was arrested on Tuesday morning after being detained by the victim and another citizen on Alexis Road in Centre.

The victim in the case spotted their vehicle and was able to detain the suspect until law enforcement could arrive.

Initially, a call was made to Cedar Bluff Police informing them of the location of the vehicle; they then notified Centre Officers who responded to the location.

Brogdon was arrested at the scene and charged with Receiving Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree and is being held on a $1000 bond.

Centre Police say that Floyd County Police assisted in the case.
