FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 54-year old Rome man was arrested following a reported stabbing on Watson Street Tuesday afternoon.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Russell Dean Dixon of a Robinson Avenue address stabbed a 57-year old man in the side.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Dixon was booked into the Floyd County Jail on a felony count of aggravated assault.

He is also being held for a probation violation.
